3D Artist (Gaming)
About the role
Valletta Interactive Studios is a Malta-based game development studio working on multiplayer and casino-styled gaming titles for European and international markets. We are a compact team (art, engineering, product) focused on quality, optimisation and rolling releases. Our office is located near the Sliema/Gżira seafront with hybrid work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.
As a 3D Artist you will be responsible for producing game-ready assets from concept to engine integration. You will work closely with concept artists, animators and engineers to ensure assets meet performance budgets, correct PBR workflows and platform constraints (desktop and mobile). The role suits someone who enjoys the entire asset pipeline — modelling, UVs, texturing and optimisation — and who can balance creative quality with technical limitations.
This role is attractive for candidates who want exposure to international IPs, structured professional development, and the chance to influence visual direction in a studio that values iteration, feedback and cross-discipline collaboration. We offer a competitive Malta salary band, portfolio-driven recruitment, and options for continuous training and conference attendance.
