UrbanBite Technologies Pte Ltd

About the role

UrbanBite Technologies is a Singapore-based foodtech company powering ordering and loyalty for neighbourhood cafés, kopitiams and small chains across the island. We combine data-driven product development with close partnerships with F&B operators to make ordering seamless for consumers and operations efficient for merchants.

You will join a compact cross-functional product team of product managers, backend engineers and designers. The role focuses on native Android development using Kotlin and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Jetpack). You'll own features end-to-end — from design collaboration and implementation to testing, monitoring and Play Store releases. Expect to work on real-world problems like offline ordering, menu sync for central kitchens, fast UI for CBD lunch crowds and integrations with payment providers and maps.

This role is ideal if you enjoy fast iteration, close collaboration with non-technical stakeholders (restaurant partners, ops teams) and shipping user-facing improvements rapidly. UrbanBite offers opportunities to grow into technical lead roles and shape how our platform scales across new neighbourhoods and markets.

About UrbanBite Technologies Pte Ltd

  • Monitor app performance and crashes (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, performance metrics) and act on production issues.
  • Own releases to Google Play Store, coordinate release notes and versioning for hotfixes and feature launches.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design and operations teams to translate merchant and consumer needs into technical solutions.

  • Familiarity with unit and UI testing (JUnit, Espresso) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.).
  • Experience publishing and managing apps on Google Play, including handling release tracks and crash reporting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with product and operations teams; English required.
  • Available for hybrid work in Singapore and flexible for occasional evening or weekend support during releases.
