About the role

Meraki Hospitality Group operates a portfolio of neighbourhood bistros, café concepts and a central kitchen serving both dine-in and delivery channels across Singapore. We are undertaking a multi-year digital transformation to modernise POS, inventory, loyalty and analytics platforms using Azure cloud services.

The Cloud Solutions Architect (Azure) will own the technical design and implementation of cloud architecture, working closely with product owners, operations teams and external vendors. You will lead migration projects, design resilient multi-environment deployments, and establish best-practice infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines tailored for hospitality workloads (POS, order management, analytics).

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and own Azure cloud architecture for mission-critical hospitality systems (POS, OMS, analytics, loyalty).
• Lead migration planning and execution from on-prem or other cloud providers to Azure, including lift-and-shift and refactoring strategies.
• Define and implement infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and automated CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Collaborate with product owners, operations and vendors to ensure high availability during peak service hours (lunch/dinner).
• Implement security, logging, monitoring and cost-optimisation practices tailored to multi-outlet F&B operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud/DevOps engineers and external contractors.
• Manage vendor relationships for cloud services, managed databases, and third-party hospitality SaaS integrations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for incident response and lead post-incident reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of cloud architecture experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Relevant Azure certifications preferred (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud solutions for SaaS or on-prem replacement projects.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep) and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps).
• Solid networking, identity (Azure AD), security and backup/DR experience in cloud environments.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate technical plans for operations and vendors.
• Willingness to attend occasional evenings or weekends for major rollouts and be part of on-call rotation.
