Sliema Tech Labs

About the role

Sliema Tech Labs is a growing Maltese cloud and cybersecurity consultancy serving local and international clients across fintech, iGaming and tech-enabled services. We combine hands-on engineering with pragmatic security advisory work and run a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team based in Sliema with hybrid working options.

As a Cloud Security Engineer you will be responsible for securing infrastructure and platforms across public cloud providers, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and working closely with DevOps, development and compliance teams. You will design security controls, perform threat modelling, tune detection and response tooling, and contribute to security architecture decisions that protect customer environments at scale.

This role offers exposure to multiple cloud platforms, real-world incident response, and opportunities for professional development and certifications. You will join a cross-functional team where practical problem-solving, clear documentation and hands-on implementation are valued — ideal for engineers who want both technical depth and client-facing experience.
