Merlion Hospitality Technology

About the role

Merlion Hospitality Technology is the in-house technology arm of a growing Singapore F&B and hospitality group operating cafes, central kitchens and quick-service outlets across the island. We build and operate systems that handle POS transactions, loyalty platforms, inventory sync, and analytics for our brands — from kopitiam-style breakfast cafes in the heartlands to CBD lunch crowd outlets.

The Database Administrator will be responsible for the health, performance and security of our relational and non-relational data stores (SQL and NoSQL). You will work closely with product, DevOps and operations teams to ensure high availability for peak periods such as weekend brunch, public holidays and dinner service. The role is hybrid with regular on-site collaboration in our CBD office and requires on-call support for incident response.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving F&B tech team where improvements have direct impact on daily restaurant operations and customer experience. You will help shape backup and disaster recovery strategy, optimise query performance for analytics used by commercial teams, and support migrations and new feature rollouts across multi-outlet environments.

About Merlion Hospitality Technology

Merlion Hospitality Technology supports a multi-concept F&B group operating cafes, hawker-style pop-ups, and hotel F&B outlets. We focus on practical tech solutions that keep front-of-house and back-of-house operations running smoothly — POS, inventory, CRM and kitchen display systems.
