The Digital Marketing Manager (PPC/Paid Social) will own paid performance across channels — primarily Google Ads and Meta — while mentoring a small specialist team and coordinating with creative, analytics and account management. You will be responsible for planning budgets, setting strategy, and ensuring campaigns meet agreed KPIs and ROAS targets.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end PPC and paid social strategies (Google Ads, Meta) aligned with client objectives.
- Manage campaign setup, bidding, targeting, creative testing and optimisation to hit KPIs and ROAS targets.
- Plan and allocate monthly budgets across channels; monitor spend and deliver timely re-forecasts.
- Lead a small team of media buyers and collaborate with creative and analytics for landing page and conversion improvements.
- Produce regular performance reports with actionable insights using GA4, reporting platforms and in-house dashboards.
- Implement A/B tests, audience segmentation and advanced bidding strategies to scale performance.
- Ensure campaigns comply with platform and industry policies (including client-specific compliance where relevant).
- Liaise directly with clients during strategic reviews, presenting results, recommendations and next-step roadmaps.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience managing PPC and paid social campaigns in an agency or in-house environment.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable ROI across Google Ads and Meta campaigns.
- Strong analytics skills with hands-on experience in GA4, Google Tag Manager and reporting tools.
- Experience managing monthly media budgets (typical ranges €10k–€100k+) and demonstrating budget optimisation.
- Demonstrable experience leading or mentoring junior media buyers.
- Excellent Excel skills; familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools (Data Studio/Looker) is a plus.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); Maltese language skills are advantageous but not required.
- Right to work in Malta (EU citizens welcome; non-EU applicants should note work-permit requirements).

Work schedule
