FNKT Studio Malta Ltd

About the role

FNKT Studio Malta Ltd is an independent iGaming studio producing branded and original slot titles for global operators. Our Malta office sits in St Julian’s and combines a small, focused product team with experienced engineers, artists and mathematicians. The studio values iterative design, player-centred balancing and measurable performance metrics.

As a Game Designer (Slots Mechanics) you will own the mathematical and feature design of new slot releases and live games. You will work closely with the Lead Designer, Senior Mathematician and engineering to create GDDs, RTP and volatility models, paytables and bonus mechanics. You will also run internal playtests and analyse telemetry to refine features post-launch.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design and number-driven decisions. You will be joining a collaborative, deadline-oriented team with opportunities to influence product direction, learn modern slot math tooling and progress into lead design roles within the studio. We offer hybrid working with scheduled on-site days for sprints, creative reviews and release testing.
