Meridian Hospitality Group

About the role

Meridian Hospitality Group operates two boutique hotels, a collection of signature restaurants and a central production kitchen serving both in-house outlets and external clients. We are looking for a Head of Engineering to take ownership of building services, plant operations and maintenance standards across our portfolio.

The role covers mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and building management systems supporting guest rooms, back-of-house kitchens, restaurants and event spaces. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, manage external contractors and deliver capital projects and energy-efficiency initiatives while ensuring statutory compliance and safe working practices.

This position is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who can combine technical depth with people management — a strong communicator who will work closely with operations, F&B and procurement to keep operations reliable during high-occupancy periods, MICE events and weekend peak service. Meridian offers stability, a clear development path and the chance to shape sustainability and maintenance practices across a growing hospitality group.
