About the role

Valletta Growth Partners Ltd is a Malta-based tech-enabled services company working with international clients in fintech, iGaming and professional services. We are scaling our commercial operations and need a senior sales leader who can translate product strengths into durable B2B revenue streams.

As Head of Sales (B2B) you will define the go-to-market strategy, build pipeline, manage key accounts and lead a team of account managers and business development reps. You will work closely with product, marketing and operations to ensure sales targets are realistic, measurable and achieved. The role combines hands-on selling with people leadership and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the B2B sales strategy to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Build, coach and manage a small sales team of account managers and BDRs; set KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Own pipeline management and forecasting in the CRM (e.g. Salesforce or HubSpot)
  • Identify and close new enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships across Malta, EU and UK markets
  • Work with marketing to create targeted campaigns, sales collateral and account-based initiatives
  • Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals and lead contract discussions with legal and finance support
  • Monitor sales metrics, provide regular reports to the executive team and recommend corrective actions
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years' B2B sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record closing enterprise deals and managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) and sales forecasting
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and pricing
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Maltese or Italian is an advantage
  • Demonstrable ability to recruit, develop and retain sales talent
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally within the EU
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Malta

Work schedule

Typical week: Monday to Friday, core in-office days with flexibility and occasional evening or weekend client meetings when required.

  • Core in-office days: Tuesday to Thursday
  • Flexible remote days: Monday and Friday (subject to team agreement)
