Network Engineer - Infrastructure
About the role
Harbour Point Networks Ltd is a Malta-headquartered managed services and infrastructure provider serving clients in iGaming, finance and technology. We operate a compact engineering team that delivers secure, resilient network and connectivity solutions for both local businesses and international customers. Our culture mixes a professional, performance-oriented approach with strong collaborative support and ongoing training.
The Network Engineer will work within the Infrastructure team to manage core routing and switching, firewalls, load balancers and WAN services. You will lead day-to-day operations including incident response, performance tuning, firmware upgrades and documentation while contributing to medium-sized projects such as datacentre refreshes, client network migrations and cloud networking integrations. The role provides exposure to enterprise-grade Cisco platforms and security appliances and offers clear progression for engineers who want to specialise in routing/security or move into senior architecture.
This position is ideal if you enjoy a hands-on technical role with project elements, value continual learning (certification support provided), and want to work in a Malta-based team that supports international clients. Hybrid working is supported, with onsite presence expected for hands-on tasks, scheduled maintenance windows and team collaboration days.
