Fnkt Pte Ltd

About the role

Fnkt is a Singapore-based payments and commerce technology company focused on simplifying payments for F&B merchants — from kopitiams and zi char stalls to multi-outlet restaurants and cloud kitchens. The team builds POS integrations, gateway services, reconciliation tools and merchant portals used by operators across the island.

The Product Manager (Payments) will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for payments features: from scoping and prioritisation through delivery and merchant onboarding. You will work closely with engineering, design, risk & compliance, commercial partnerships and operations to deliver reliable payments experiences — covering card acquiring, e-wallets, PayNow, QR integrations and reconciliation automations.

This is a hybrid role based in our CBD office with flexibility for remote work. The role suits a pragmatic PM who understands payments rails, API design and merchant pain points in the F&B sector — someone who can translate technical constraints into merchant-facing outcomes and measurable business metrics.

About Fnkt Pte Ltd

Fnkt builds payment and commerce infrastructure for F&B operators in Singapore and the region. Our platform connects POS systems, payment service providers, and merchant portals to reduce checkout friction, speed up settlements and simplify reconciliations for restaurateurs.

  • Own merchant onboarding flows, settlements and dispute workflows to improve time-to-value and reduce support tickets
  • Collaborate with risk & compliance to ensure products meet MAS regulations and local card scheme rules
  • Monitor payment success rates, authorisation decline reasons and settlement KPIs; run experiments to improve conversion
  • Create product requirements, acceptance criteria and support the QA and release process
  • Support sales and merchant success teams with documentation, training and deep-dive support for complex merchant cases

Requirements

  • 3+ years product management experience, with at least 1 year working on payments, fintech or PSP integrations

  • Hands-on experience writing product requirements and API contracts; comfortable reading technical docs and working with engineers
  • Experience working with external partners (banks, PSPs, gateway providers) and managing integrations end-to-end
  • Good analytical skills; experience with SQL or analytics tools to track payment metrics and funnels
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to translate merchant problems into technical scope
  • Eligible to work in Singapore and able to attend occasional on-site days and merchant visits

Benefits

  • Medical insurance (employee) and group hospitalisation coverage
  • Flexible hybrid work policy (3 days office / 2 days remote typical)
  • Learning & conference budget and paid training days
  • Transport allowance and monthly meal subsidies; access to partner restaurants for product testing
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave and public holidays as per Singapore law

Work schedule

Typical week: 5 days per week (Monday–Friday), hybrid model with some core on-site days and merchant visits on occasion.
