Release Manager
About the role
Sliema Tech Labs Ltd is a growing software and platform engineering firm serving clients across iGaming, fintech and local enterprise. We combine an engineering-led culture with structured delivery processes; our Malta hub in Sliema houses product, operations and platform teams working in Agile squads.
As Release Manager you will lead release planning and execution for a portfolio of services, introducing best-practice CI/CD, automated verification and robust rollback procedures. You will liaise with engineering, QA, product and security to ensure releases are scheduled, risk-assessed and communicated clearly to stakeholders. The role has both strategic and hands-on elements: improving pipelines, owning release runbooks and supporting incident response when releases impact production.
The position is ideal for an experienced release or DevOps professional who enjoys process leadership and collaboration across distributed teams. We offer structured learning, career progression into platform or engineering management, and a hybrid working model that balances focused office days with remote flexibility.
