Release Manager
About the role
Sliema Tech Labs Ltd is a growing Malta-headquartered software engineering company serving clients in iGaming, fintech and enterprise services. We combine a compact local engineering team with remote colleagues across the EU and pride ourselves on pragmatic processes, automation-first thinking and a strong focus on service reliability.
As Release Manager you will lead the end-to-end release lifecycle: schedule and coordinate deployments, enforce quality gates, automate repetitive tasks and partner closely with engineering, QA, product and operations. You will be the single point of accountability for release readiness, risk assessments and rollback plans, ensuring predictable, low-risk delivery to production.
The role sits within the engineering leadership team and is ideal for someone who enjoys process ownership, hands-on CI/CD automation and stakeholder communication. We offer a hybrid working model (2–3 days in our Sliema office / Msida hub), a supportive engineering culture and exposure to international clients — a strong opportunity to shape release practices in a compact, highly collaborative environment.
If you have a proven track record managing releases in cloud-native environments and enjoy translating technical detail into clear plans for multiple teams, this role offers clear progression into platform leadership and scope to influence tooling and operational standards across the business.
